"Yours Truly is a pinky-purple transparent that behaved well, no fizzing or bubbling, and the rod was not shocky. Lovely color that would probably be great for layering." – Lori Peterson

CiM Tester Feedback

  • Our testers had a wide variety of color results from melting Yours Truly: a transparent purple with pink tones, a dusty rose mauve, an amethyst, and even a brownish transparent.
  • Special thanks to Claudia Eidenbenz & Jenefer Ham for the photos in this section.

“Yours Truly has some wild color changing! Thicker is richer. Gorgeous rosy transparent and user friendly.”
Laurie Nessel
"Yours Truly is a transparent purple but with definite pink tones. This behaved well, and melted with no issues. I decided to make some bubble beads, and I do have to say I was very surprised at how different the hearts came out when compared to the donuts. So much so that I even double checked the rods out on my bench! I can only conclude that this colour will strike as the hearts did have more heating and cooling. But what did please me, that despite the striking factor, each pair still matched! So a glass to explore further!"

"Yours Truly melted great and I like it!"

“CiM’s Yours Truly is a pale transparent dusty rosy mauve. It’s shown here as spacers, over white and over DH Clio.”
Janet Evans
"I was expecting a pale pastel purple/pink but Yours Truly ended up with a brownish hue. Not sure what the issue is. I made a simple spacer bead. I also made a second bead with a base of Effetre Super Clear. The left side was then encased in Effetre white to represent the opaque, the middle in CiM Marshmallow to represent the translucent, and finally the right remained clear to represent the transparent. Yours Truly was then wound onto this bead. This gives the opportunity to see encasement in a variety of common beadmaking situations.”
Kim Fields
"Yours Truly in rod form is beautiful, however I found the glass once melted and applying to be quite full of bubbles. When used as dot caps there were many tiny bubbles which ruined the effect. This is a beautiful pinky-purple transparent but the bubbles were a disappointment. I don't usually get this in any other colour so have put this down to the colour itself rather than user error."

"Yours Truly is a soft transparent pinkish purple."
Suzy Hannabuss
"Yours Truly is a lovely pale lavender. When layered over a transparent bright purple, I got a deep transparent purple! Not shocky and no issues with bubbling or scumming. Played nicely with dichroic and silver glass on the surface of the bead."
Terri Herron
"On your site Yours Truly is more pink. In my beads I see more amethyst."
