"Above are a few examples of what violet highlight mica looks like over some of my favourite transparent CiM glass colours. Pale transparent glass looks particularly effective with highlight mica. Adding a little mica as partial surface decoration to textured beads is a simple and pretty way to add a little sparkle and pick out a little detail whilst being an efficient use of mica if you have just a little sampler or baggie." "Rose Quartz - a delightful translucent pink, Blush - a transparent, and Gelly's Sty - an opaque. They all appear to be the same shade and hue - just transparent, opaque and translucent. All colours should come this way!" Read more at DragonJools blog.

"KA-357 was scrolled and striped on a base of Blush, a gentle hue of pink. The bead was then reduced and encased with Double Helix clear glass, Aether. Although it is difficult to photograph, the 'mother of pearl' luster is rich." Read more at Darlene's blog.
