"When Poolside and Aegean are left alone, they do indeed look quite similar. But when you etch them you can see the difference." – Cathy Beaumont

  • Aegean was engineered in response to requests for a "light" version of Great Bluedini.
Aegean definitely qualifies as a light version of Great Bluedini. – Jolene Wolfe

"I love colors that sit between blue and green - and this one straddles those colors perfectly. It's not green or blue. Aegean reminds me a bit of Effetre Light Teal - if perhaps a touch darker and a tiny bit bluer. It's so much more well-behaved, though! Not much in the way of scumming or bubbling, and it isn't too stiff, which makes it nice for layering." Read more at Kandice's blog.

"Here you see, on the top, CiM Aegean, and for contrast, the lone rod below is Effetre 026 Light Teal. Aegean is a dark aqua with a hint of green - not enough to push it over into the teal family, but enough to distinguish it from the aquas." Read more at DragonJools blog.

"OH MY this is one heck of a glass. It’s teal. A perfect, blue-green-green-blue teal. It melts wonderfully, it behaves itself [no pitty bubbly scum shenanigans] and it’s a great Goldilocks [just right] consistency. If you like teal you *need* this glass." Read more of Laura's testing.

“Aegean is a truly beautiful deep teal which looks like a light version of Great Bluedini [Bluedini sample bead on the left].” Read more at Kitzbitz Art Glass’ blog.
