"Trapeze is a transparent, medium lavender. The stiff glass is perfect for sculpting or creating vessels, but flows easily for a lovely encasement." – Heather Sellers

CiM Tester Feedback

  • Special thanks to Jolene Wolfe for providing the photos in this section.
"I tested Trapeze up against Jellyfish. This first picture was taken under daylight bulbs indoors. As you can see Trapeze appears to be a touch darker than Jellyfish. Outside in bright sunlight the difference in colour is much less apparent." Read more at Kitzbitz Art Glass' blog. – Jolene Wolfe

"I am sure if you put them all side by side [Trapeze, Jellyfish, Count Von Count, Larkspur, Tranquility and even Purple Haze] you could see a few tiny differences in shade and maybe even a little bit of variation when it comes to the color-shifting properties in regular light versus fluorescents or halogens. But separately, you'd have a hard time telling the difference between any of these and their Effetre counterpart - the original 081 Dark Lavender." Read more at Kandice's blog.

“Trapeze is a wonderfully transparent medium lavender - that I get the feeling is supposed to colour shift. It has that colour about it that looks like others that shift, and I see a little tonal variation, but not huge, dramatic shifts.” Read more at DragonJools blog.

"Trapeze is another dark lavender-alike… but this one looks and photographs as purple under halogens rather than blue! It does look *more* purple in sunlight, but it definitely colour-shifts far less than the others. So if that shift annoys you, this is a fab alternative." Read more at Heather's blog.
