A transparent purple.

"It's a pretty dark colour - but not so dark that you have to dilute it. Thinned down, it looks kinda pinky." Read more at DragonJools blog. – Dwyn Tomlinson

  • Berry Mist was produced in response to requests for a lighter version of Simply Berry.
Berry Mist is the same shade as Simply Berry, but it is less saturated and will pull out to a lighter colour than Simply Berry does. – Melanie Graham

"Berry Mist is lovely, used on its own it is neither too light and dilute or too saturated and dark. Goldilocks would say, 'This purple is just right'." Read more at Jo's Kitzbitz Art Glass blog.

"Both these beads were made using a layer of clear as the base, allowing the transparent purple glass to dilute over the top - making it the perfect shade to use as a base for my floral beads. The scrolled surfaced decoration on the round bead was made from stringers pulled from the rod to show just how pale and transparent this glass becomes when used thinly."

"It’s definitely lighter than Simply Berry and very pretty. I would compare it to Effetre Medium Purple but brighter in color. The Effetre’s more of a brownish purple. In the photo, the four beads to the right are Simply Berry and everything else is Berry Mist."
