"There was only one example of a slight variation where the deep caramel colour actually lightens - this may have been due to a reaction with the decorative stringers I used to surface decorate the bead. I made silvered ivory stringers using Effetre Dark Ivory and used these to apply decorative scrollwork. These beads have been etched using a liquid solution - they have a soft, smooth finish to them." – Liz DeLuca

“I love making these ocean critter beads, the sandy beach effect is really pretty I think. I make this look by wrapping Vanilla Latte Ltd Run with silver leaf and then vapourising it in the flame.” Read more at Kitzbitz Art Glass’ blog.

"Vanilla Latte is just a beautiful colour of tan, that falls somewhere hue-wise between the beautiful pale of Butter Pecan and the rich terracotta of Adobe. The glass is creamy and wonderful to use, and just loves silver." Read more at Melanie's blog.
